The Associate Biostatistician plays an important role on projects; designing and analyzing clinical trials under supervision of Division management. Key responsibilities and skills include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for statistical analysis plans and the accuracy and timeliness of statistical input into reports or decisions.
  • Demonstrate extensive understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
  • Responsible for accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, and data listings, accuracy of report text, and consistency between summary tables in the body of reports and the corresponding source tables and listings.
  • Responsible for assuring that data for statistical analyses are sufficiently accurate and consistent.
  • Responsible for accuracy and completeness of database quality assurance checks
  • Effectively mentor non-statistical peers with regard to basic statistical methodology.

Qualifications

  • MS in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field.
  • Training and experience in experimental design, descriptive and inferential statistics, biometrics and computer systems.
  • Technical competence and communication capability, both oral and written.
