The Intercollegiate Athletics Department is seeking an Associate Athletic Director of Sales & Partnerships to support and ensure the ongoining fiscal stability and success of SIUE Athletics
Responsibilities and Duties Include
Oversee the in-house corporate partners program to achieve and exceed revenue goals, including: Identification and solicitation of new sponsors; retention and stewardship of existing partners; connecting with potential and existing partners through meetings and calls; creating proposals, presentations, and contracts; invoicing, and ensuring accurate activation and fulfillment; and work with athletics staff to understand needs and identify opportunities for sponsors to support.
This position also plans and executes all aspects of ticket sales and operations, including: setup, management, and maintenance of ticketing system through Glitner; create and sell ticket packages for home events, including full season tickets, partial season tickets, group tickets, special event tickets, and single-game tickets; communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service with potential and existing ticket holders; management and training of all gameday and ticket office personnel (ticketing GA, students and gameday staff); and collaborate with other external units, event management, and financial affairs to maximize revenue and attendance.
The Associate Athletic Director for Sales and Partnerships serves as the primary licensing contact for SIUE Athletics. The position will continue the strategic development of Athletics' brand through in-venue and e-commerce partners to increase revenue and brand awareness; communicate and maintain strong working relationship with Game One/adidas representatives; oversee the planning and execution of gameday apparel store, including ordering, maintaining inventory, pricing, and sales; represent SIUE Athletics on the SIUE merchandise committee; and collaborate with campus colleagues to achieve brand and revenue goals.
In addition the Associate Athletic Director for Sales and Partnerships will collaborate with Director of Athletics, Director of Development, and other colleagues to identify and solicit donors while supporting the planning, execution, and success of annual fund, fundraising, and special events.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.
  • Possess managerial/supervisory skills needed to make decisions, set deadlines, plan and schedule work flow, provide customer service and foresee for future.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in fundraising, sponsorships, and/or ticket operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ticket management/sales software preferred
  • Master's degree
