The UMKC Dental School is a partner of the UMKC Health Sciences District. The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist to fill the position of Assistant/AssociateClinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics. This department is responsible for pre-doctoral and dental specialty students, patient care, and service in periodontics. Specific responsibilities of this position include pre-doctoral classroom and clinical instruction in periodontics. Experience teaching in a didactic and/or clinical environment is an advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field.

Full Time/Part Time


This is a 12-month, full-time (1.0 FTE), benefit-eligible, ranked, non-tenure track academic faculty position. There is opportunity for ranked promotion.

Salary


Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with applicant qualifications (e.g., credentials, education, and experience). There is an opportunity for additional compensation in clinical practice.
