Job Description
Our Finance mission is to advance Moody’s business strategy by providing best-in-class, near real-time financial reporting and data-driven insight, mutually enabled by operating effectiveness.
To help achieve this, the Financial Planning & Analysis department is now hiring for an Assistant Vice President in a newly created position to further the Moody’s Analytics commercial reporting strategy. This individual will focus on business line inter-operability illuminating key trends and product eco-systems to support investments accelerating top line growth and expanding operating leverage.
Responsibilities include:
  • Append external analysis spanning multiple layers of data sources
  • Co-ordinate with strategists to track new products, volume, and pricing
  • Own product reporting across multiple datasets to illustrate workflow capabilities and drive best in class executive ready dynamic materials
  • Align expense reporting to coordinate strategy and profitability reporting
  • Develop, measure and track KPI’s with a focus on value creation
  • Enhance data integrity and controls
  • Train and develop team members
  • Manage ad-hoc topline focused projects
  • Experience using Power BI and Alteryx platforms
  • Graduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification a plus
  • 8+ years of business experience in Finance related role
  • Experience using leading CRM and EPM platforms
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance related discipline

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $129,200 to $187,400, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
