Assistant Teacher For Montessori Preschool (Fall City/Snoqualmie Valley)

Summary

We are a small Montessori School in Fall City looking for an assistant teacher. This position can be full time or part time.

The ideal candidate is looking for the opportunity to work in a positive, supportive work environment. We offer the opportunity for job advancement and scholarships towards earning a college degree.

The S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. S/he must believe in a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents.

Duties

• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Help ensure smooth, daily transition between home and school.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Actively engage with children and support co-workers.
• Responsibilities will include daily cleaning.
• Assist in the implementation of activities and maintain a positive, calm environment.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must currently be living in the United States
• Must clear full background check

Nice To Haves

• The following training will be required, but we will help you through the process:
• STARS number
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• BBP/HIV training
• Food Handlers Permit
• 30 hours of Childcare Basic Training
