Assistant Superintendent Jobs

Job Summary

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible in assisting the Project Superintendent(s) on any assigned project to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists with the planning and coordination of subcontractors' work and activities for a
• Measure and cut lumber to desired specifications
• Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night
• Follow instructions to ensure safety of project team
• Assist with scheduling Subcontractors
• Assists with General Construction (drywall, concrete, painting, carpentry, )
• Lifting/moving of equipment and
• Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order
• Reliable transportation
• Perform all duties assigned by the General Superintendent and or Manager
• Learn carpentry, electrical work, plumbing and other specialized skills as required by the team
• Pick up and deliver materials and supplies to job site
• Daily site clean-up

• Willingness to learn construction skills on-site
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Salary Information

To the extent this position is performed in California, the annual salary range for this role is $25-$30 per hour.

The range stated is specific to California. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, project size capability (for Construction related & Field specific roles) and internal company equity.
