Summary
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, and ability to adapt to additional software programs

- At least 2 years of manager experience in a specialty retail store with relevant traffic and volume preferred
- Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex financial reports
- This position requires the ability to problem solve complex situations in an effective and efficient manner including dealing with difficult and/or troubled clients
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Ability to utilize retail POS System & Inventory Scanner
- Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.
- High School Diploma required or General Education Degree (GED)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships
- Must commit to two store closings per week, including one being Friday or Saturday
- Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly via email, memos, and reports
- Able to regularly perform store maintenance items sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
- The ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- The ability to use caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless and/or transients and avoid confrontations
- Able to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, processing shipment and store merchandising
- Requires ability to perform repetitive motions (i.e. hanging, folding, ringing up customers, etc.)

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Escalates performance concerns to the Store Manager
- Represents the company in a professional and positive manner
- Inspires and motivates entire team by sharing knowledge and best practices for sales, merchandising, stocking and inventory processes
- Assists in directing the planning and execution of floor sets in an efficient manner while following Company guidelines and encouraging collaboration of ideas amongst team members
- Ensures that store staff are treated professionally, courteously and respectfully
- Fosters a positive work environment and provides direct, honest feedback in a timely manner
- Serves as the Manager on Duty, performing responsibilities of the Store Manager when the Store Manager is away from the store
- Works alongside employees at all levels, driving and maintaining high standards by serving as a positive role model to ensure the integrity of the brand
- Motivates and inspires the associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment for both internal and external customers
- Assists and coaches in training Sales Associates while on the sales floor and monitors compliance for all company standard operating procedures and cultivates an environment of open communication and teamwork
- Exhibits the interest and the ability to become a Store Manager
- Adheres to and ensures compliance with all LP policies
- Guarantees company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention procedures
- Assists the Store Manager with managing company standards of merchandise presentations, signage and displays

- Provides relevant and timely feedback, coaching, and redirection in the core areas of customer engagement, selling and sales floor etiquette

- Ensures that customer service is the number one priority and partners with Sales Associates in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Responsible for processing return/exchange transactions, authorizing promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of a manager
