We serve seasonal, organic farm-to-table produce via our proud partnership with Ecolibrium Farms in Woodinville, WA. Our business is predominantly lunch driven, with our highest volume between 11 am-3 pm.
Overview: As a Homegrown Assistant Retail Manager, you are dedicated to developing your management skills and proactively achieving outlined goals with the intention of being prepared to manage your own Homegrown location. You are the right hand to our Retail Managers, supporting all operations at a Homegrown restaurant location including hiring, training and development, store operations, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Retail Manager with thorough and timely training to all incoming and existing Partners, conducting regular performance reviews, one on ones, and ongoing development of each Partner
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment free of harassment, discrimination, and workplace hostility
- Support the Retail Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruitment, and hiring of top talent for your team
- Ensure fresh, quality food and beverage are stocked and produced to spec in all retail and catering orders
- Lead with integrity, transparency, and knowledge to embody and promote the Homegrown mission, vision, and values
- Model and motivate exceptional guest service with a focus on quality, accuracy, and a sense of urgency
- Collaborate with Retail Manager on growing sales, controlling cost metrics, and driving operating profit; evaluate store opportunities and identify underlying causes.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs; Ability to stand 3-4 hours at a time
- Inclusive leader with the ability to inspire a team to collaborate and create a positive working environment
- A drive to learn and passion for teaching others
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management or leadership role (Background in food service/hospitality preferred)
- Strong guest service experience with an ability to anticipate guest needs and proactively solve concerns
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
