Assistant Registrar for Systems and Curriculum Southern Oregon University Position Number: A00540 Rate: $43,781 - $50,323 Position Summary: The Assistant Registrar for Systems and Curriculum (Assistant Registrar) is a key administrative roll within the Office of the University Registrar. This position reports directly to the University Registrar/Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management (Registrar) and has primary responsibility for ensuring that key enrollment/student/curricular systems/processes are developed and managed properly. This position directly supervises the Academic Scheduling Coordinator, Enrollment Systems Coordinator, Transfer Articulation Coordinator, and student assistants. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Functional use of voicemail, email, and various database systems along with working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): -Position classification defined as “exempt” are not subject overtime
  • Must be willing to travel and attend training programs off-site for occasional professional development.
  • At least 2 years of functional experience in an area closely related to Student Services, such as Registration and Records, Financial Aid, Business Services, Admissions, or a closely related area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and handling interruptions in a fast paced multifaceted environment.
