Based in Alsip, IL Nufarm is seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient assistant project manager to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to the Project Manager by coordinating project activities related to all projects. The position’s main duties are to ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved. The Project Manager Assistant handles multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
What will you be doing?
Supporting the coordination and management of projects
Help problem-solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project
Research information to support other teams and departments as needed
Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
Complete any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner
Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals
Oversee various aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to provide timely project execution
Work with various teams and stakeholders to monitor project progress and provide oversight to ensure projects are completed promptly and within budget.
Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution
What do you bring?
Nufarm is looking for an Assistant Project Manager with at least 1 year of Microsoft Project experience required. This role is expected to be on-site (as required by manager) and will transition to a hybrid schedule after initial training period.
The ideal candidate will have relevant training and/or certifications as an Assistant Project Manager. Along with proven work experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role. Additionally, someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively will succeed in this role.
