My client is a well-known general contractor headquartered in Birmingham with local projects and a strong presence in the area. The work that they do will be in a variety of sectors but primarily the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and retail spaces up to $30M+ in value. • Develop client relationships
• Establish office culture - lead from the front
• Partner with the estimating team to assist with the preconstruction side
• Oversee project operations - coordinating workload, schedules, budgeting, and more
• Meet with C-level and board executives to review office standings and future needs
• Plans and coordinates project activities inline with company polices and procedures
• Communicates effectively, establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors

The Successful Applicant

• 5-10+ years of experience with a general contractor
• Bachelor's degree (construction related degree highly preferred)
• Leadership characteristics and experience
• Client facing
• Procore proficient
• Good organizational & communication skills
• Experience leading ground up construction projects up to $30M in scope preferred
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, materials, and local subcontractors
