Position Information

Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The UNC-Chapel Hill Department of History is one of the largest academic departments within the College of Arts and Sciences. The Department is committed to the purposes of a research university, to the teaching of history at the undergraduate level as a core discipline in a liberal arts education, and to the training of graduate students.

Position Summary
Faculty member will be responsible for teaching a 2:2 load while continuing their own research, participating in departmental service, and mentoring undergraduate/graduate students.
This position is within The UNC-Chapel Hill Department of History.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have Ph.D. in History or a related field in hand by July 1, 2023.
