BUILDING: PENNCREST HIGH SCHOOL

CLASSIFICATION: ADSUP I

REPORTS TO: HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the instructional leadership and management of the overall operation of the school, including the supervision of all building employees, scheduling students and staff, curriculum, and the physical plant.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate should have a master’s degree in education with at least five (5) years’ teaching experience in regular education within a high school. Prior administrative experience with proven leadership experience is necessary. Qualified candidates must hold an active and valid Pennsylvania certification in Principal (PreK-12) or Principal (7-12).

Position requires sitting, standing, walking, or moving throughout the building, often for extended periods of the workday. Must be able to hear (40 decibel loss maximum), verbally communicate and see with near acuity of 20 inches or less and far acuity of 20 feet or more with depth perception, accommodation, and field of vision. Performs a variety of duties, able to make judgments and work under high level of stress. Subject to inside environmental conditions.
