We are looking for an easy going, positive, friendly, accountable, long-term, marketing assistant to join our unified team. Equine knowledge is preferred. Our moto is Happy, Healthy Horses, and our mission is to educate equine owners of the importance of nutrition and supply them with the highest level of equine supplements. We are looking for a long-term team member, many of our team members have been with us for 10+ years.
Assistant Marketing Manager: Equine Manufacturer and Marketing Company is looking for an assistant marketing manager. Compensation is dependent on experience and skills.
Full-time Hours: 8am-4pm Monday through Friday, with Summer Fridays (1/2 day). An option of part-time is available however benefits are different.
On-Premise Job Location: On a Beautiful Ranch Between Sisters and Redmond, Oregon.
Responsibilities: Email marketing, managing partnerships (ambassadors and events/organizations), social media, equine nutrition knowledge- nutritional support & articles, assisting with customer service. Willing to be flexible in day-to-day duties, as we are a small business and everyone wears a lot of hats
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Strong equine knowledge base. Experience with social media. Proficient in Microsoft Office software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, ability to work independently. Detail oriented, accurate, organized, and can handle constructive criticism. Great communication skills on and off the phone, positive demeaner at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Helping to create quarterly marketing plans and implementing them through weekly emails, social media posts. Creating the content behind the posts and emails. Daily customer service through answering questions on social media. Supporting the office manager with questions emailed in. Weekly ambassador and event/organization support, vetting these individuals and deciding what levels of sponsorship they qualify for, and following up with current beneficiaries. Monthly equine blogs written that fall in line with our marketing plan. Help answering phones and handling customer communications when the office manager needs assistance. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvements for interdepartmental efficiency. Updates knowledge of all areas of responsibilities by participating in educational opportunities.
Not required but beneficial: Experience with design, adobe illustrator and/or background with paid advertising such as Meta Ads.
