About Our Client
The company is a leading jewelry company looking to grow and expand in the industry in a more efficient way.

  • Support staff in troubleshooting transaction errors and coordinate with necessary business partners for timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in the Diamond Division to enhance stone availability and meet demand requirements.
  • Communicate any constraints in stone availability to customers for released work orders.
  • Allocate appropriate resources to achieve targets and promptly communicate any challenges to management.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of serialized and melee diamonds to customers in accordance with established service level agreements.
Inventory Management:
  • Utilize JD Edwards system to process inventory adjustment transactions as necessary.
  • Ensure documentation compliance according to record retention policies and audit requirements.
  • Oversee the cycle count program to maintain accurate inventory levels and meet established targets.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies to management immediately.
Staff Management:
  • Establish and monitor metrics to track employee performance and maintain records of employee development, performance, and cross-training activities.
  • Develop and update process flows, work instructions, and additional documentation to ensure process consistency.
  • Maintain an appropriate departmental structure that aligns with the evolving activities of the Diamond Division.
  • Implement training initiatives for Order Fulfillment Assistants related to diamond supply processes.
  • Foster employee development through coaching, training, and the Performance Management Process.
General Operations:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and execute initiatives such as TiPS (Team Involvement Process for Safety).
  • Assist with various projects and tasks associated with the Diamond Division as requested by management.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  • Adhere to all Diamond Division and Chain of Diamond Custody (CODC) policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in managing and developing staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with management.
  • Comfortable presenting and speaking in front of both management and peers.
  • Demonstrated creativity, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including advanced experience in MS Office.
  • 4-5 years of experience in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Prior experience leading a team towards a common goal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify improvement opportunities, and escalate challenges when necessary.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VBA and Macro reports.
  • Experience with JDE Software.
  • Knowledge of Tiffany business practices.
  • Six Sigma/Lean Green belt certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year). Experience working in an environment that practices Six Sigma/Lean concepts.
