Assistant Group Supervisor Salary : $12 - $15 per hour Assistant Group Supervisor Hours : Monday-Friday - flexible morning or afternoons Assistant Group Supervisor Responsibilities : Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children Building strong relationships with the parents Provide an enjoyable experience that allows members and participants to feel comfortable in the classroom and at the Y by offering excellent service Assist the head teacher in observation techniques to record information about children for use in planning curriculum Interacting with children, team player, knowledge of developmental appropriate practices for a two year old. Assistant Group Supervisor Qualifications : Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddler aged children in a child care setting. Having your own children does not count for DHS. Some knowledge of STARS!
