Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8-4:30

S ummary:

Under the direction of the Executive Director of the MetroHealth Research Institute (MHRI), manages large grant portfolio in MetroHealth Center for Rehabilitation Research (MCRR) operating, fiscal, administrative, and human resources activities. Oversees fiscal and administrative aspects of all research grants/contracts conducted by MCRR. Develops/monitors the annual operating and capital budgets in cooperation with the MHRI Finance Manager. Evaluates and ensures efficient research activity and reporting. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.


Qualifications:
Required: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration, or Nursing, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. 7-10 years of Research Administration or Grant Management experience with progressive high-level management experience encompassing program planning and analysis, and financial and operational management. Ability to plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate a variety of activities/projects. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated leadership, communication, mentoring, customer service, and experience in working with multi-disciplinary groups. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Extensive knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis and NIH policies. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: None Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
