Assistant Chief Of Security

The position of Assistant Chief Security provides assistance to the Chief of Security in the development, administration, coordination and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and activities.

Assists in maintaining full accountability for managing all aspects of day-to-day security and safety operations and activities in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Ø Perform duties of the Chief of Security in his/her absence

Ø Coordinate activities of security, safety, and related functions

Ø Assist Chief of Security in planning, organizing and training all phases of fire, safety, and security operations on all FAROS properties/sites as deemed necessary.

Ø Conduct/assist in investigations.

Ø Assist in development and implementation of safety goals, objectives, and training.

Ø Exercise strong leadership skills and practice self-discipline in maintaining and developing CCTV operations for exterior and interior of property, and evaluate deficiencies of property coverage. Participate in leadership training sessions. Supervise the performance of patrol duties of officers and any additional personnel assign.

Qualifications: Full-Time

Ø Act 120 Certification is preferred, but not mandatory

Ø Basic knowledge of PA Crimes Code

Ø PA 235 Certification in Lethal Weapons

Ø Valid PA Driver’s License

Ø 3 to 5 years of hands on professional work experience in security.

Ø Ability to plan, assign, and direct the work of others in a team environment.

Ø Ability to exercise critical human relations skills.

Ø Demonstrated computer literacy skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
