Responsibilities

·The primary functions of this position are the performance of packaging material testing. This also includes testing for commodities of product to manufacturing for filling and finishing.

·Conducts packaging commodity analysis - Includes visual inspection, variable inspections, EVOH analysis, layer analysis, etc.

·Record test results in the release form.

·Assist in investigations into testing problems as required under the Retest Policy.

·Observes all safety rules and regulations. Reports incidents, and near misses chemical spills in the proper manner to the crew leader and/or supervisor.

·Document commodity testing problems through the supplier notification process.

·Housekeeping responsibilities. Completes Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly cleaning, and keep a tidy work space.

·You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA, and client policies and procedures.

Qualifications

·High School Diploma or GED required and a college math and science course.

·Bachelor’s Degree of Science (preferably Chemistry) preferred

·Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Word
