Summary of Job Duties:
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least three months experience operating equipment, such as a lift, loader, bucket truck, etc.
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months experience working as a tree climber
- Six months experience working in a public garden
- Demonstrated knowledge of climbing, knots, pruning practices, and basic horticulture practices are a plus
- Six months experience working in landscaping or a related field
- One year experience working as a grounds man for an arborist
