Job Description

The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields.

A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based portable e-bike upgrade manufacturer is currently seeking a Temp Assembly Line Production Operator that are manually skilled and process driven team members to assemble the next e-bike upgrades.

The company is a consumer-tech hardware startup located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Biking is our passion, and our mission is to make cycling easier by offering the public affordable and accessible e-bike technology.

The main tasks will include:

  • Packing and Shipping assembled devices to our customers in the US.
  • Following guidances to quality check the assembled devices
  • Implementing manufacturing procedures that effectively satisfy quality and quantity requirements to assemble CLIP devices
  • Current university students or recent graduates open to gaining on-the-job work experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Work period:

Hours of work: 40 hours/week, full time, in-person (Preferred)

Salary: $17/hour

Qualifications:

  • Must know how to ride a bike
  • Manually skilled with fast hands
  • Process-driven individuals who are able to follow guidance
  • Experience in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering projects or students with a degree in BS/MS

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour
