Assembly Jobs

Description: General Description of Duties: (Job duties include, but, are not limited to the following)

• Perform mechanical operations necessary in transformer assembly, tanking and wiring
• Ability to meet the company's standards for safety, quality and quantity of work
• Candidate will be trained in the use of fork trucks and cranes
• Lay out, cut, thread and bend conduit
• Interpret and carry out verbal instructions from designated persons or supervisors
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. of material
• Usage of various electrical devices to test control wiring
• Must have own tools Requirements: Skills or Specialization Required Must be able to safely work with power tools Must be able to follow directions and read instructions Good math skills, able to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements PI222915472
• Solder, braze, aluminum weld and pass a test for certification
• Use tools such as saws, grinders, drill presses, etc., safely and with efficiency
• Work off of ladders, lifts and scaffolds
• Read and interpret prints, wiring schematics and written instructions
• Ability to work on high platforms and in tight spaces
