Art Creative Coordinator Jobs

The Opportunity
We're currently looking for highly-organized, detail-driven, boots on the ground team members to support our Creative Directors and Line Artists in our continuing endeavor to Wow Our Customers with our on-trend, unique artwork.
Our Divisions Looking For Creative Coordinators Include

• Yesterdays: a brand born as a bold love letter to the California beach lifestyle
• TGT: artwork that stirs memories & conversations about your favorite trips; do it with style, say it with stickers
• Blue 84 College: the 'brand of banners,' providing official licensed collegiate merch

These various team members will support specific divisions, and are responsible for helping to oversee our art programs, ensuring the process runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our core value of Continuous Improvement.
These positions are ONSITE @ our HQ in Detroit Lakes, and travel will be required to contribute to our value of Continuous Improvement as this team member will assist in trade show booth merchandising at various times throughout the year.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours TBD.
A Typical Day (job functions) | Boots on the ground + Proofing + Coordinating + Data Gathering + Communication Between Multiple Departments

• Execute concepts and place orders for accessory sample launches
• Review and approve revised designs
• Assist with press approvals on samples
• Proof new line art and prepare to be set up in DM (Pricing, Colors, Placement and Sizing)
• Receive and approve freelance artist invoices
• Communicate with Data Entry, CS and Art Departments on daily workloads to help with routing of Line Artwork
• Assist in training new Line Artists or Freelance Artists on our art filing systems
• Work with all parties to help identify improvement opportunities in sample process
• Attend all scheduled meetings
• Merchandise showrooms and displays to keep accessory racks fresh and new @ our DL Headquarters
• Assist with product presentations for customer/rep visits and sales conferences
• Prioritize daily workload based on due dates
• Attend art reviews and work with artists on revisions
• Work with creative and production art to ensure correct and consistent sizing of Accessories, as well as development of new accessories
• Plan, direct and coordinate with Creative Directors to get Accessory samples ordered for Trade Shows and showrooms, and assist with merchandising and maintenance of showrooms, as well as attending trade shows to assist with booth merchandising
• Work with Creative Director to ensure art direction and visual presentation delivers intended result on accessory designs
• Help in directing art pack coordinators on new art packs and revisions
• Facilitate any revisions on original line art that cannot go to production art
• Coordinate development and sampling of new accessory art for new garment and art releases
• Assist with gathering data for web releases and auto samples to communicate to Data Entry
• Other responsibilities as directed (contributing to our core value of TEAM)
• Help coordinate the sample process for releases
• Gather and select designs to be featured in specific 'territory' catalogs

Skills (qualifications) | High-Level Organization + Direction of Multiple Parties + Eye for Detail + Artistic Aptitude + Get It Done Mentality

• 2- or 4-year Graphics Design degree or Art-related degree preferred
• Ability to work well within a team and coordinate amongst various departments
• Excellent organizational skills
• Illustrating background and experience with Illustrator and Photoshop or similar programs preferred, to help in the understanding of the creative process from A to Z
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
