Associate or Bachelor degree electrical engineering or equivalent work experience + 2+yrs of PLC, DCS, and SCADA process control systems

Job Responsibilities: ✨


  • Work with IT to ensure the security of our systems.
  • Train the site electrical team to be proficient with automation systems
  • Work with the Operations, Maintenance, and Finance teams to propose and implement solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business.
  • Develop code for new systems
  • Support team by safely providing solutions to ongoing automation issues


Job Qualifications: ✨


  • 2 years of experience with industrial process control systems including DCS, PLC and SCADA based systems (combination of school plus work experience).
  • PLC communication protocols: Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc. experience.
  • 2-4 years of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
  • PLC (Allen-Bradley preferred not required) ladder and block programming & troubleshooting experience.
  • Human Machine Interface (HMI) such as WonderWare or WinCC experience.
  • Proficient in database programming languages
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools & Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
