Job Description
IOA is on the forefront of revolutionary healthcare models, reshaping the way people can age in place. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: To generate qualified referrals for Homecare, Enrichment Center, Care Coaching, and Care Management services through the combination of marketing and community outreach efforts. Through the application of an effective marketing and sales process, the Director of Community Relations works collaboratively with Companioa, Corio, Connect and Marketing team members to ensure the client referral experience meets the service standards of IOA. The Director of Community Relations promotes the positive image of IOA through enhancing and developing community partnerships, public relations activities, events, social media, and marketing initiatives and participates in the facilitation of the intake to enrollment process for prospective clients, their loved ones and referral sources.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Corio and Companioa service offerings and demonstrate consistent messaging through social media and community presentations.
  • Develop and implement Strategic Account Plan for all B2B community partnerships, advancing relationships, effectively tracking outreach activity, and completing all necessary steps of referral marketing as outlined by IOA’s consultative sales process.
  • Enter all available information on prospect and client into electronic health record in an accurate and timely manner, providing notes on follow up and referral source.
  • Provide after-hours support for referral partners, prospective clients, and active clients as needed.
  • Facilitate weekly business development meeting with Corio and Companioa teams; provide oversite to support outreach efforts of other team members as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to increase brand awareness and enrollments for Corio and Companioa programs; manage routine follow-up schedule to ensure the long-term satisfaction of the referral sources to generate on-going, long-term business; communicate referral source feedback to Corio and Companioa program leaders as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with program leaders to attain census goals and identify challenges or issues that impact census; efficiently resolve barriers throughout enrollment process for prospective clients to ensure timely enrollment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain an effective network list of community resources for potential client referrals and establish relationships that assure continuing opportunities for business growth and partnerships; keep Corio and Companioa team members informed of resource list.
  • Participate in weekly pipeline meetings to review prospects, identify strategies for enrollment, and determine follow-up items for B2B business in support of relationship management.
  • Maintain knowledge of the strategic position of Corio and Companioa programs within the market, identifying new opportunities to enhance reputation and / or build referral base; provide assistance with implementing the new programs or initiatives as needed.
  • Actively participate in additional team meetings as needed.
  • Conduct assessments as needed for all programs demonstrating the ability to build relationships with prospective clients and their loved ones, address questions and concerns, and convert qualified prospects to enrolled.
  • Collaborate with leadership on identifying monthly data on key metrics related to outreach efforts and enrollments for all programs; generate and review qualified leads reports from electronic health record and update records as needed.
  • Receive and / or respond to incoming inquiries as needed; effectively assess prospects’ need and provide necessary information and follow up to other team members as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Gerontology, or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of senior care industry.
  • Able to maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients and constituents.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and assertiveness with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in healthcare management or marketing, preferably in Homecare, Assisted Living or related field.
  • Able to learn and apply the consultative (needs-based selling) sales approach.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to present in front of groups.
COMPENSATION
  • Range: $130,000.00 - $164,000.00 USD Annual
This amount is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on actual experience, education and other factors.
This range does not include any additional equity, benefits, or other non-monetary compensation which may be included.
