As an Architectural Project Manager (Municipal Projects) at Jericho Design Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of architectural projects for municipal clients. You collaborate closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects. Your strong project management skills, knowledge of the municipal sector, and architectural expertise will be vital to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Municipal Project Management: Lead and manage architectural projects for municipal clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations, codes, and zoning requirements.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the architectural team, fostering collaboration and ensuring project goals are met.
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensure efficient coordination between design professionals and consultants.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulations and codes, ensuring that project designs and documentation adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design intent, specifications, and industry standards, while addressing any potential issues.
Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within financial targets.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, and meeting minutes, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural project management, with a strong focus on managing municipal projects.
Architectural Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
Licensed Architect: Hold a valid architectural license and possess a comprehensive understanding of architectural principles and practices.
Municipal Project Expertise: Experience in managing architectural projects for municipal clients.
Project Management Skills: Strong project management abilities, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in architectural design software, project management tools, and other relevant industry software.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex design and construction challenges specific to municipal projects.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
