Job Title:ArcGIS Analysts/Engineers

Location:Hybrid Phoenix, AZ

• Be on-site at a mine to converse with users, conduct UAT or deploy <25% of the time
• Would play a key part in breaking down these barriers and allowing Freeport to fully understand and improve their mining operations.
• Collaborate with team members at Phoenix office <50% of the time
• Candidates need to be based out of Arizona
• Able to work from home <40% of the time

Top 3 skills

Minimum of 4+ years of GIS experience

Proven experience inputting, editing, manipulating, managing, analyzing and outputting of spatial and tabular data sets

Smart, fun personality open to traveling to one of these three sites: Morenci, AZ, Safford, AZ and Chino, NM.

Current team & reason for need: Building team from scratch (previously leveraged support from McKinsey and looking to bring skills in house);

Assist in management of GIS data or the maintenance of data quality assurance and quality control standards

Performs moderate to complex GIS analytical and geoprocessing functions, including input, editing, manipulation, management, analysis and output of spatial and tabular data sets

Develops, plans, and implements complex GIS analysis tools for the system users and operators

Participates in the development, maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the governance of GIS information

Mining degree; Oil & gas background ideal
