Appointments Specialist

$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Contract through end of year (with potential to extend or turn permanent)

Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm

Columbus, Ohio

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own continuous pipeline of contracting packets from introduction to completion though integrated software, email, or phone when needed
  • As an Appointments Specialist, you will be responsible for providing delightful and differentiating service
  • You will be responsible for appointing our brokers and partners are licensed so they can represent our company to their clients
  • Complete contracting responsibilities with the drive to assist with process improvement projects
  • Support Appointment & Licensing inboxes by routing, troubleshooting, or escalating requests through the appropriate channel
  • You will be responsible for doing this process accurately and efficiently all while exceeding our brokers and partners customer service expectations
  • Partner with the Appointments & Licensing Lead to align representatives territory expectations and projections that prepares you to execute volume
  • You are a subject matter expert on our companies’ appointment processes, carrier compliance rules and deadlines, document and contract evaluations, and all system tracking best practices



Who we’re looking for:

  • You have a passion for completing highly repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment while being accountable on smaller projects through completion
  • You are self-motivated and “get stuff done” while also providing a customer service approach to your work
  • History of exceeding individual and team goals and metrics
  • You have a proven ability to identify inefficiencies in a process to give suggestions on solutions though completion
  • Knowledge of ticketing or knowledge-base tools
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and DocuSign, or comparable softwares
