Position Description
Our healthcare client is seeking a full-time, permanent, remote Senior Applications Analyst. This position will sit within the IT department and will support the daily operations of the Finance and Payroll departments. This also includes support for the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Supply Chain/Materials Management teams. Operational knowledge in these areas is critical. Candidates must be able to work effectively while remote and open to future onsite visits as needed, so candidates living within 2 hours of Cambridge, Massachusetts are preferred.
Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned)
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives as discovered.
- Support various integrations and maintain file transfers to third party vendors - including electronic payment files to and from financial institutions.
- Work closely with operational counterparts to provide day-to-day support of multiple systems including Meditech GL, AP and MM modules, Infor Payroll, and Ansos Time and Attendance while reporting directly to the Sr. Director of I.T. Applications.
- Provide technical knowledge to assist in decision-making and future state designs.
- Create and maintain technical and training documentation for both internal IT resources and operational staff.
- Participate in an on-call rotation after 6 months
- Provide build and access support in several I.T. applications.
- Provide support for third party software and hardware including document scanning, bar code readers, timeclocks, and other wireless handheld devices.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong time management and written/verbal communication skills
- Certification in Meditech AP, GL, MM, and NPR preferred
- 3+ years' experience supporting one of the following systems: Meditech Client Server AP/GL/MM; Infor v.11 Payroll; or Ansos Time and Attendance
