Position Overview For The Appian Developer
  • Maintain strict adherence to organizational policies, standards, and best practices, aligned with the Agile iterative development approach, to support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Revise, implement, and troubleshoot application improvements, ensuring seamless functionality through coding and configuration.
  • Conduct thorough unit and integration testing while meticulously documenting all enhancements. Address and resolve issues with existing application logic, updating documentation accordingly. Aid the project manager in estimating task durations, deliverables, and activities.
Required Skills for the Appian Developer:
  • 8+ years of experience successfully executing one or more end-to-end Appian BPM implementations encompassing design, development, deployment, and packaging phases.
  • Strong comprehension of various Appian Objects, including Records, Sites, Actions, Security, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process Models, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, and Groups.
  • Effective collaboration in contributing to screen and workflow designs for projects of moderate size.
  • Proficiency in hands-on Appian (17x/18x/19x) BPM application development, with a demonstrated ability to write SAIL code.
