We are High energy, Fast-paced and Rapidly Growing and are seeking an Apparel Designer in our New Jersey Offices to help us continue to design and make great clothing for our institutional clients, including: W Hotels, Westin Hotels (and 8 other Marriott brands), Hyatt Hotels, Wyndham Worldwide, Goldman Sachs, Carnival CruiseLine, Royal Caribbean, Omni Hotels & Resorts among many others. Direct industry experience is not required. A proven track record working for a real company is with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience. Job Summary:

The Apparel Designer is responsible for a range of projects including creative design as well as sourcing, research and coordination, Duties will include, but not be limited to those listed below:

PRIMARY

  • Design of custom embroidery and graphics
  • Garment design for clients
  • Create fabric and design boards for client presentations

RESEARCH/SOURCING

  • Costing
  • Source fabrics/trims
  • Put garment looks together for model shoots
  • Communicate with vendors regarding fabrics/trims for pricing
  • Research current styles/inspiration
  • Assist in creating Look Books and ads for trade shows
  • Organize and maintain fabric/trim library

QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • Member of Production Quality Control Team

Qualifications:

  • Garment or corporate apparel industry experience is preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in apparel design and sourcing
  • Proficient use of MS Office 365
  • Expertise in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro

  • Able to deal with meeting deadlines
