We are looking for a career-oriented, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Ridge at Chestnut, a 388-Unit property located on Chestnut Circle in Kansas City. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for getting apartments ready in between residents, on-site maintenance calls (including after-hours), and preventative maintenance.

What We Need:

• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Preventative maintenance
• Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
• Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition needs
• Maintaining property grounds
• Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
• Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas

What You Need:

• CPO Certification preferred
• 1+ years’ experience in maintenance
• Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
• EPA License Required
• HVAC Certification preferred
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
