The Lionheart Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides social and emotional learning programs to incarcerated adults, highly at-risk youth, teen parents, and direct care staff serving at-risk youth. Lionheart provides exceptional quality rehabilitative resources to be used directly by incarcerated adults and at-risk adolescents, resources and training for professionals who work with these populations, and direct social-emotional education programs for adults in prison, at-risk youth, and at-risk teen parents.

Role Description

We are seeking an animator for a three minute video to help youth in juvenile detention understand the impact of trauma on their brain and behavior. Audio for the video has already been created as has the storyboard and some representation of assets. Another video in the series exists as a model.

This is a remote volunteer role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or related field is a plus
• Experience in Animation, Motion Graphics, and Storyboarding
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in Motion Capture
• Excellent communication skills
