Animal Care Assistant Jobs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

• Performs daily laundering of pet bedding and towels.
• Assists other associates as needed.
• Ensures appropriate feedback for owners for each guest’s stay.
• Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Blessed Paws.
• Provides clean bedding and fresh water to each pet guest.
• Monitors pet belongings; cleans belongings as needed; assures the return of pet belongings to owners. Carries pet belongings to the storage area, front desk or assists customers as needed.
• Visually checks pet guests for safety and well-being throughout the day.
• Cleans up pet excrement as needed. Checks and picks up excrement from enclosures as needed throughout the day.
• Reports needed repairs to supervisor.
• Monitors and accurately charts consumption and elimination of each and every pet guest; bring problems to General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Reports items in low supply to supervisor.
• Maintains and cleans food preparation areas.
• Sanitizes/disinfects pet enclosures and general boarding areas.
• Makes sure that each pet receives the correct type and quantity of food for each meal.
• Treats customers, guests, and co-workers professionally and courteously; greets all customers encountered while performing work duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Completes all required training and attends training sessions as needed/assigned.
• Ensures pets have clean water at all times.
• Performs add-on services as needed.
• Follows procedures for the safe handling of all pets.

• Holidays
• Weekend availability

• Spring, TX 77379: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
