Requires: 2 - 5 years of analyst, financial analyst or associate experience in financial services, at an investment bank or asset manager. Strong Excel, modeling, and presentation skills.

Our client is a premier lender specializing in financing essential-use business equipment to a variety of industries. It is an award-winning, broker-centric lender with expertise in the capital markets.

The company is seeking an experienced analyst to report to its head of Corporate Development. This role provides integral support to the company’s CEO, President, and CFO.

Responsibilities of the Analyst:

· Support for the company’s portfolio of strategic investments, including:

o Supporting the VP of Corporate Development in evaluation of prospective acquisitions, including financial modeling and preparation of investment memos

o Working with portfolio companies to develop strategic and financial plans

o Requisite analytics to drive decision-making by senior management

· Manage production and analysis of monthly KPI’s

· Assist the VP of Corporate Development in production of quarterly presentation materials for the board of directors

· Provide analytical support for:

o The company’s capital-raising activities, including efforts on behalf of its portfolio companies

o The company’s strategic plan, including budgeting and company presentations to partners and third-parties

· Analysis of lease/loan performance and company financial metrics, including presentation of results to senior management

· Managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications of the Analyst:

· The ideal candidate has 2 - 5 years of experience in financial services at an investment bank or asset manager with strong knowledge of debt, equity, capital raising, strategic planning, analytics, metrics, KPIs etc

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school.

· Advanced proficiency in financial modeling utilizing Excel

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and deliver results

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

· Track record of strong time management and ability to multi-task
