Responsibilities


How Will You Contribute to the Company?


This role sits in Cradlepoint’s corporate communications team and works closely with product marketing, product management, and various cross-functional groups and stakeholders. Reporting to the Sr. Analyst Relations Manager, this is an opportunity to build upon and shape a dedicated security-focused analyst relations program. We’re looking for someone who brings good use of judgment, organizational skills, as well as enthusiasm to the team. The right person for this role balances the ability to help foster and convey the vision of where we’re going with the program, plans ahead, and creates program objectives that align with and support the greater company objectives. Stepping into this role, you’ll inherit pieces of an existing program with demonstrated success, and take it to the next level, with white space to design where it could go in the future.


The right candidate sees analyst relations as a puzzle to be solved, and deeply enjoys the strategy of this role but also knows how to put the strategy into action. We’re looking for someone experienced in maximizing value from AR programs and who understands the importance and execution of both outbound and inbound activity.


What Will You Do?


  • Provide strategic value back into the product, marketing, and sales organizations by relaying and providing competitive intelligence, insights, and other key findings around current trends, use cases, and customer needs
  • Create an analyst interaction calendar, and execute interactions
  • Conduct proactive outreach and manage strategic inquiries and briefings to ensure analysts and influencers are familiar with and up-to-date on Cradlepoint’s business initiatives, important news, product launches/updates, and market positioning
  • Build and foster close relationships with key industry analysts and influencers
  • Provide recommendations on which firms/analysts marketing should partner with (customer reports, license research, speaking events, etc.)
  • Identify key analysts within the various swimlanes and verticals of our business with a focus on the security vertical
  • Secure positive analyst/influencer reviews and quotes for use by our PR and customer success teams
  • Collaborate with product management and product marketing teams to fact-check and complete surveys, questionnaires, vendor assessment reports, etc
  • Develop and manage analyst engagement and reporting calendars to identify areas of potential coverage
  • Negotiate, secure, and manage select analyst vendor relationships
  • Support with analyst relations operations; tracking interactions, documenting Briefings and Inquiries, etc
  • Coach internal stakeholders on best practices for participating in successful analyst interactions and briefings


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Demonstrated success in influencing analyst programs to desired outcomes
  • Self-motivated team player with a demonstrated ability to deliver results, including the ability to work effectively with a variety of team members across different functions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence, including a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external executive relationships
  • Bachelor's Degree supported by five (5+) years in an analyst relations role
  • Deep experience working cross-functionally with product, product marketing, and revenue teams to build consistent, engaging, and meaningful analyst programs that benefit all parts of the organization
  • Experience in the technology field (with security, and/or networking, and/or SaaS strongly preferred)
  • Successful experience managing large, critical analyst programs: Forrester Wave, Gartner Magic Quadrants, commissioned research, and so on

Your Pay


The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.


  • $74,200 - $149,500 / year


Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint’s Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Please note that an employee’s FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
