Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new Connected platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ’s data and insights to innovate and grow.



As a Analyst, Price & Assortment Analytics, you will develop and implement advanced analytic techniques to gain adept understanding of customer behaviors in order to help consult, and guide Fortune 100 Client Mid & Senior-Executive teams to support their core strategic business objectives. This will be accomplished through the analysts ability to synthesize complex analytics into a well structured, and communicated strategy insight for client teams. The recommendations made will support marketing strategy development, execution, merchandising/category planning, price modeling, ad hoc strategic & tactical client requests, etc. with core focus being influencing customer strategy that will directly impact the clients Customers.


Responsibilities


  • Support the development of incremental customer analyses and merchandising opportunities for strategic partners and clients, including leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices
  • Work to implement and entrench analytical methodologies that enable more profitable product, pricing, assortment and promotion decisions in support of partner customer strategies. As well focus on analytics to prioritize recommendations across retail practices
  • Manage analytical objectives from setting data requirements to structuring and executing the backend analysis and reporting
  • Use and ensure entrenchment of NIQ RA Solution Tool Set through cadenced review w/client
  • Interpret, document and present/communicate data-driven retail insights to multiple business disciplines, providing conclusions and recommendations based off customer-centric data


Qualifications


  • 1-2 Years Experience in Statistics
  • Bachelors in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering/Computer Science or Information Systems/Economics/Data Science
  • 1-2 Years Experience in Retail/Omni Analytics
  • 1-2 Years Experience in MS Office Suite
  • 1-2 Years Experience in Python/R
  • 1-2 Years Experience in Data Processing & Arch
  • 1-2 Years Experience in Azure Environments
  • 1-2 Years Experience in SQL
