Analyst Jobs

Salt Creek Capital is seeking a new Analyst (pre-MBA) to join the firm’s professional team. The successful candidate will support all facets of the investment process as a junior team member, including preparing financial models, performing industry & market research, supporting acquisition due diligence, and drafting investment presentations. The Analyst will also support numerous aspects of internal firm operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage multiple investment-related projects in a time critical, transaction-oriented environment

· Provide support to senior investment professionals in all steps of the investment process

· Coordinate meetings with investment bankers and prospective sellers

· Gather due diligence material and organize deal datarooms

· Evaluate financial information and build financial models

· Write detailed investment memorandums

· Monitor key partner communication

· Create marketing materials and investor presentations

· Organize systems and records

· Support portfolio companies in various aspects and with special projects

Desired Skills and Experience

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree from a top university

· Approximately 24 months of experience in public accounting, investment banking, corporate finance or management consulting

· Strong analytical, financial modeling and quantitative skills

· Outstanding business writing and communication skills – e.g. ability and experience authoring complete investment memorandums and/or business plans

· Attention to detail and ability to manage several parallel projects

· Ability to interact with and present to senior level executives with confidence and poise

· Excellent references
