Job Description


To provide operational support to the Laboratory Operations teams in the form of metrics and data intelligence. Perform analysis using a variety of data sources to help Laboratory Operations departments make informed business decisions. Leverage reporting and statistical analysis tools such as Tableau and SQL, to perform trend analysis and benchmarking. Actively engage with the CBR Laboratory Operations and software development teams. Maintain and utilize expert knowledge of lab systems and procedures to champion the needs of Laboratory Operations in all cross-functional projects.


Responsibilities


  • Assist in the development of training for lab personnel based on system enhancements
  • Use analytical tools such as Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma to analyze and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current and proposed business processes
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Bills of Material for Tucson Operations
  • Monitor help desk tickets and assist with resolution of tickets as they apply to lab systems
  • Liaison between lab ops, kit ops and sales to resolve cross-departmental issues
  • Assist in the monthly and quarterly inventory reconciliation activities
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests for Tucson Operations
  • Assist in the creation and on-going support of departmental reporting
  • Assist with enhancement testing and user acceptance testing for all systems that support lab operations
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of data quality metrics for the Tucson Lab
  • Assist in the assignment and maintenance of RF-Smart User Permissions
  • Assist QA with the root cause analysis and corrective actions as they apply to lab systems
  • Assist in the resolution of cross-departmental issues within the Tucson Lab
  • Review user access to lab systems on a regular basis
  • Assist in the writing of business requirements for system enhancements or new systems being developed
  • Maintain expert knowledge of production systems and lab processes
  • Tier 1 support for ERP/RF-Smart issues
  • Utilize knowledge of production systems and lab processes during cross-departmental projects
  • Support lab teams in the creation or updating of documents based on system enhancements
  • AX Super User
  • Assist project leaders with project submissions where lab systems may be impacted
  • Maintain RF-Smart Workflows pertaining to Lab Ops Functions
  • Assist with finance and accounts payable issues management related to the Tucson Lab


Qualifications


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
