The Performance Management team provides key reports and insights to the highest levels of New T-Mobile’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT). We collaborate with many key stakeholders across the enterprise and provide solutions that enable leaders to effectively drive the business.


The Analyst role will join the digital revolution as we create the future-state performance management system for the SLT. We are building world-class experiences to help leaders at all levels deliver on key results. Our industry and leaders move fast, and you’ll get to develop solutions that enable that growth.


The candidate will be an enthusiastic problem-solver with strong attention to detail. You will support the production of key reports and will develop skills related to data staging / transformation and information visualization to build reports of your own. (S)he should also be comfortable with Excel in order to assist with ad hoc reporting asks.


The ideal candidate will be passionate about building world-class dashboards and design. These products will be used by T-Mobile Executive Leaders to drive the business, so intuitive UX design, executed flawlessly, is critical. (S)he should possess strong communication skills to relay ideas and share products, both to colleagues and leaders.


General Responsibilities:


  • Enthusiasm to solve complex challenges
  • Build dashboards and technical solutions with guidance from senior team members. Reports will be pixel-perfect, so a strong attention to detail and precision implementation is essential
  • Maintain dashboards and support updates / changes
  • Create data sets in SQL for frontend views. Data flows and views need be optimized for performance. Tables / views tested to ensure desired frontend UX / interactivity
  • Support the production of existing reports (Tableau and PowerBI)
  • Unlock the potential of process automation using PowerApps and Python


Basic Qualifications:


  • High attention to detail
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Positive growth mindset
  • Intellectual curiosity of data and reporting


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
  • Knowledge of PowerApps, Python, HTML
  • Experience with Excel VBA / macros
  • Familiarity with a modern visualization application (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
  • Experience managing ambiguity and challenging asks. Our tasks are complex, and will likely follow non-linear trajectories
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and design. T-Mobile is not only an industry leader but a champion of brand management. Magenta runs deep in our veins and we carry that sense of design into our dashboards
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
