Analyst, Cybersecurity
What Will You Do?
- Serve in a support role within chosen cybersecurity pillar (listed above). Responsibilities may include:
- Uphold MFC's high standard of delivery for our clients
- Complete program-specific onboarding and soft skill trainings to boost confidence in field and jump-start cyber career
- Cyber Fusion Center & Security Operations Center: conduct ongoing review and analysis of client environment metrics to ensure timely and informed responses to cyber threats/attacks
- Demonstrate commitment to training, self-study, and attaining/maintaining proficiency in the cyber security domain
- Security Operations & Incident Response:perform penetration testing of and conduct forensic analysis of incidents within client environments
- Strategy and GRC:conduct and deliver compliance assessments (NIST, CIS20, CMMC, HITRUST), implement risk and asset management tools in client environments, conduct third-party risk assessments, etc.
- Cyber & Operational Resilience:build incident response playbooks, conduct training exercises, and support overall client incident readiness
- Identity & Access Management:implement identity management tools and support process improvements in diverse client environments
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Qualifications
- Excellent written, oral, and collaborative communication skills
- Have knowledge of and experience employing general cybersecurity best-practices
- No more than 1 year of experience in cybersecurity field
- Possess baseline experience with tools/bodies of knowledge in chosen pillar(s)
- BA in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Continually recognize and seek improvement opportunities in self, as well as for team at large
