Amazon Driver Seasonal Days

Fort Payne, Alabama Drives gas powered yard truck or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, swing reach, clamps, elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

• Operates equipment using The Children’s Place and Cal OSHA safety standards
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Scans merchandise and locations using RF technology
• Immediately reports any problems with the machines to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Positions forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, materials and transports load to designated area
• Puts away merchandise to appropriate locations verified by the RF scanner
• Pulls orders
• Completes equipment checklist before and after each use in order to verify condition of machine
• Moves trailers to their designated area

• Makes safety a priority and adheres to all company safety guidelines and procedures
• Demonstrates proficiency in technical/functional skills to perform job functions effectively
