The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting CDL Drivers with loading, unloading and delivering product to customer locations on designated routes. In this role, the Driver Helper is also responsible for stocking product on shelves and in coolers while ensuring that appropriate rotation standards are maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Travel with a Driver throughout the day to deliver and fill merchandise and rotate products at customer accounts
  • Reload truck with customer returns, empty shells and pallets
  • Provide superior customer service and foster relationships with store management and personnel
  • Merchandise, display and rotate products according to company standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Pick up company property and returns


Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of general work experience required
  • Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred


BACKGROUND VERIFICATION:
