Job Description
Vale Group has partnered with a respected and well-established regional aviation company who is actively searching for an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to work On-Site in Billings, MT (59106).


The ideal Aircraft Mechanic candidate should have training or experience inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing both routine and complex maintenance on a variety of airframe types in a part 135 repair station setting. Experience or training with piston engine aircraft is highly desired.


Newly certified A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) mechanics and military veterans with A&P credentials are encouraged to apply!


The Aircraft Mechanic opportunity offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunity with a stable employee-owned company. Perks include profit sharing and airline discounts. Licensed Mechanics at all levels are encouraged to apply. The starting hourly rate is $24/hr for newly licensed A&P mechanics and will increase based on experience level. Ample training and opportunity for mentorship is available.


Requirements


  • Experience with small to mid aircraft is preferred
  • Relevant recent work experience and/or trade school education in the field of aircraft repair and maintenance
  • Current and valid Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certification (A&P license)
  • Possession of own set of basic aircraft maintenance tools a plus


Responsibilities


  • May be occasionally required to travel to complete maintenance at other locations as needed
  • Perform routine to advanced maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, and in compliance with FAA guidelines.
  • Perform aircraft run-ups and taxis
  • Adhere to all FAA guidelines and company standards of quality
  • Conduct tests and troubleshooting to ensure operational reliability
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
