Job Summary
The AI/ ML Lead will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organization by driving the adoption and integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of AI/ML, business strategy, an d change management to lead the transformation of the organization and help it realize its full potential using AI/ML.
This position is a remote position however may be required to report to SHI Austin, TX or SHI Somerset, NJ as required for business needs as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure systems and environments remain up-to-date and compliant with standards .
• Using data analysis recommendations and translating actionable items to end users.
• Measure and communicate the impact of AI/ML on business and drive continuous improvement
• Lead initiatives to develop and execute governance operating model for using AI/ML technology and other analyt ics
• Working with Large Data Sets and Data Engineering team to research and deliver on based initiatives.
• Performance assessment and monitoring
• Support building out a Technology Incubator for SHI.
• Design, develop and implement artificial intelligence solutions
• A deep understanding of AI/ML, including ML frameworks, public cloud and commercial AI/ML solutions - familiarity with SageMaker , AWS Glue, Copilot, Chat GPT and Open AI is require d
• Ensure systems and environments are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats .
• Lead the team in developing and building digital products to support SHI 's digitalization strategy

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with Large Language Models (LLM) is required .
• 2 years’ experience with SageMaker , AWS Glue, Copilot, Chat GPT or Open AI is required
• Experience with Technology Incubator is preferred.
• 2 years of direct experience wit h AI/MS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline required

Required Skills

• Project management and leadership skills .
• Experience in designing and supporting AI and ML creation and delivery.
• Experience in analyzing business requirements, recommending and designing technical solutions, and writing technical specifications and/or requirements .
• Ability to work with Large Language Models.
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures .
• Proficient in platforms such as, SageMaker, AWS Glue, Copilot, Chat GPT, and Open AI.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Experience working with Enterprise level transformation .

Additional Information

• The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
