Job Description

Join the faculty at South Central College in the agriculture division. We provide students of all ages and backgrounds with the technical knowledge and hands-on experiences necessary to start a career in agriculture or be successful going back to the farm.

Responsibilities

·Deliver semester-long courses on Soil Science, Agronomy, and Commodity Marketing to college students. All courses have been taught before and have developed course outlines and resources—no need to re-create the wheel.

·Help highly motivated students excited about gaining knowledge and learning skills navigate entry into the agriculture industry.

·Advise students and help them identify internship and full-time employment opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in agriculture, agriculture education, business, finance, economics, or marketing and four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience in agribusiness.
