Responsible for answering all incoming calls, administrative and non-emergency and inter-facility transport calls. Obtains all relevant information and accurately and completely enters all data in e911 CAD. Confirms, cancels or reschedules appointments. Communicates any possible delays, customer service issues, supply shortages, equipment malfunctions and etc. to supervisor in a timely manner. Notifies customer when transport may be late/delayed. Responsible for department secretarial duties to include coordinating meetings, preparing meeting material, recording and preparing minutes and reports. Ensures maintenance on personnel requirements is accurate and timely. Responsible for updating policies and procedures as directed. Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail. Orders and maintains administrative supplies for department. Compiles daily trip invoices and produces daily incident and billing reports. Assists EMS Manager with administrative tasks and EMS supervisors with scheduling and payroll tasks

High School graduate or GED equivalent. Excellent customer service skills – listening, verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft office software. Ability to multi-task; Ability to use language confidently and appropriately. Aptitude for learning and enhancing skills. Able to troubleshoot problems in collecting and entering data. Ability to keep information confidential. Must understand and use billing and dispatch software.
