Job Description

Pace University’s Lienhard School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions is seeking adjunct faculty for the graduate nursing department. Adjunct clinical faculty earn a competitive salary and have access to professional development workshops, computer resource centers, the library and research resources, and much more.

Opportunities are available on both our Pleasantville and New York City campuses during the spring, fall, and summer semesters for all candidates, with clinical sites in both Westchester, the five boroughs of New York City, and surrounding areas. All applicants are reviewed, and we are appreciative of your inquiry.


On the graduate level, we seek masters prepared advanced practice nurses with FNP, AGACNP, or PMHNP certification and at least one year of current clinical experience to oversee and evaluate graduate nursing students in practice settings for the following programs:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Online Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Inquiries for adjunct faculty positions to teach didactic courses in our graduate core are also accepted. Available varies by semester. To teach a didactic course on the graduate level we seek doctoral prepared (Ph.D., EdD, DNSc, or DNP) RNs with current clinical experience; prior teaching experience preferred.

Need to be licensed as an advanced practice nurse in NYS


$1,160 – $1,900 per credit

  • Appropriate level of education based on rank
  • Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
