Adjunct Faculty Credit - Early Childhood Education Ece

Harper College is seeking applicants for the Adjunct Faculty Credit - Early Childhood Education ECE position. This position is for an exciting new pilot program as part of the ECACE (Early Childhood Access Consortium for Equity) Grant. The program is designed to upskill the current early childhood workforce and address the teacher shortage in Illinois.

The successful candidate should be able to teach ECE 101 Introduction to Early Childhood Education and ECE 102 Child Development. The successful candidate must be able to teach introductory courses in both Spanish and English.

Requirements include:

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Minimum of three years working with young children in a learning environment.
• Graduate degree in early childhood education, education or related field.
• Minimum of two years teaching early childhood courses at the post-secondary education level is preferred.
