Founder's House of Hope is a Residential Care Facility for the adult community located in Artesia, CA. We are currently seeking an energetic, friendly and creative Activities Assistant to join our assisted living team. Please submit your resume today!

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
• Activities coordinator experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing

:

• Conduct room visits and actively participate in client council meetings
• Designs and arranges outside contracted entertainment
• Designs and arranges recurring events such as monthly calendars, newsletters, and themed facility events
• Develops, manages and coordinates activities outings
• Designs, develops and conducts activities program provided on a daily basis and modifies existing programs as necessary
• Develops and maintains a positive relationship with residents
• Additional duties assigned by Administrator
• Develops and maintains a volunteer program
